October Harvest Festival at The Wittel Farm - October 18, 2025- Download Flyer
- Celebrate the bounty of the season at The Wittel Farm’s October Harvest Festival! Join us for a festive day filled with food, fun, and fall activities for all ages. Enjoy hay rides through the farm, get creative with pumpkin decorating, and savor a delicious farm-to-table lunch featuring crops grown right at The Wittel Farm. Live music will add to the joyful atmosphere as we gather in community and give thanks for the harvest.

- Return to camp for the afternoon to enjoy fall activities, worship, and a picnic supper. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet up with old friends or introduce new folks to camp. An evening meal is included. Event runs from 1-6pm. At Nawakwa, enjoy Pumpkin Painting, Hayrides, Hiking, and More! Registration Fee: $15 per person includes activities and an evening meal.

- Join us for this year’s Quilt Auction, November 2, at Nawakwa. This fun-filled day of bidding raises money for the LCC Endowment Fund, which helps to financially sustain our fine ministry activities.

- Try new techniques, share your latest creations, work on UFO's, and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of camp in the fall. Worship led by Rev. Cindy Brommer. All meals provided. Please register by November 1.

- In the busyness and bustle of this season, we invite you to take time for reflection, contemplation, silence, and stillness. With hope, we will spend some time enjoying the outdoors, too. Registration fee includes lunch.

- Enjoy Kirchenwald in the Winter! Play broom hockey and other games on the frozen pond. Have fun sledding, playing snow soccer and other winter games. Creative Bible studies and worship experiences led by our summer camp counselors are an important part of this retreat. Meet new friends and catch up with your summer camp friends. Other indoor and outdoor activities may be included, as the weather dictates.
- January 18- Spend a Sunday at camp with a delicious home-made chicken and waffles dinner. Bring your sleds (if there's snow) to work off the calories, as if camp food actually has calories!
- Bring your family or youth group and enjoy an afternoon on Kirchenwald's award-winning toboggan run, ice-skating on the lake, or drinking hot chocolate in the lodge. January 18, 1-5pm.

- Begin your Lenten journey to Easter by joining us for a day apart.
- Bring your own projects or learn techniques from experienced quilters. Enjoy a weekend apart.
- Enjoy an afternoon of environmental activities, games, and crafts at one of your favorites places within God’s creation: CAMP! An evening meal is included in the $15 fee. All ages welcome.
- Book Study Retreat at Nawakwa – October 6–8, 2026 Join us for a midweek retreat exploring the theme of Community through engaging discussion and reflection. This year’s books are Becoming All Things by Michelle Reyes and The Mostly True Story of Tanner and Louise by Colleen Oakley. Enjoy good books, good company, and the peaceful setting of Nawakwa.
