Because we appreciate the good work you do on behalf of The Lutheran Camping Corporation, this year we’re giving back in a fun way and we’re calling it the One More Camper Campaign.
For every kid camper from your congregation beyond the 2022 total (from your congregation, not including Confirmation Camp), we will enter your name into a drawing. [Example: If your congregation sent 26 campers last year, and this year you send 30, we will enter your name 4 times – and good job, by the way!]
On June 1, 2023, we will draw a name and that CampPerson will win a pool party at either Nawakwa or Kirchenwald for their entire congregation on a Saturday or Sunday in the 2023 Camping Season.
But that’s not all…
We also want to recognize those who are doing outstanding work in the camper recruiting department. To do that, on June 1, 2023, we will analyze camper registrations, and the CampPerson who has recruited the largest number of campers from a single congregation beyond last year’s numbers (not including Confirmation Camp). [To clarify: we’re looking for the greatest increase in campers from a congregation.] That CampPerson will be named the 2023 CampPerson of the Year!! Their name will be inscribed on a plaque and there will be much fanfare.
But wait, there’s more…
The CampPerson of the Year will also receive a weekend retreat at Nawakwa’s Deitz Lodge or Kirchenwald’s Log Cabin or Cottage. The CampPerson of the Year is welcome to include their family up to the capacity of the lodging chosen.
We know that you would do the good work you do without the hope of fabulous prizes… and we appreciate that…we really do. There is a lot of excitement being generated about the One More Camper Campaign. Best of luck to you all.
