Explorers – Grades K-2

Day Camp – Grades K-2
Try many camp favorites and sleep at home, too. Each day includes games, nature, Bible study and a special craft. 9am to 4pm. Lunch and snack provided. (Friday pick up 6:30-7:00 to enjoy Capture the Flag and Worship for interested campers)

Mini Camp – Grades 1-2
A great taste of the overnight experience. A shorter week, comfortable accommodations, and low camper/staff ratio make this a perfect introduction to resident camp.

Pioneers – 2nd Grade

Junior Classic
Make camp the best week of your summer. All the favorites are included like Buzzards Rocks, canoeing, stream hikes, capture the flag, and more.

Arts & Crafts
Create one-of-a-kind projects in daily craft sessions. Cornhusk dolls, nature crafts, pottery on the kick wheel, and many more options to express your inner artist.

Back-Country Outpost
Settle into the Kirchenwald fort for a week of camp crafts dating back to the 1800s. Pottery, archery, outdoor cooking, plus a special after-dark game.

Bikes & Boulders – Grades 4-6
Get in gear as you ride around camp and on local trails. Plus, get a grip learning to rock climb through the sport of bouldering. It’s like two camps in one!

Day Camp Plus – Grades 2-5
It’s everything you love about camp in the traditional Day Camp model.
But wait, there’s more! Stay overnight Thursday into Friday and experience all the fun of home made ice cream, worship, and the big Capture the Flag game! 9am to 4pm. Lunch and snack provided. (Friday pick up 6:30-7:00pm)

Guppies
Get your feet wet in one of God’s most exciting resources- water! Soak up the chance to canoe, stream hike, host a pool party, and much more. Don’t forget your towel!

Night Hawks
The sky’s the limit in this program. Explore God’s cosmos through night-time observations and star gazing. Go offsite for a one-of-a-kind trip. Sleep out under the stars. Plus, build and launch your own rockets!

High Adventure
Safety and learning are paramount as you challenge yourself on our high ropes course, tower, and zip line. Caving and a day at Chickie’s Rock round out this excellent program.

SUB Adventure

Trails & Treats
Roll into adventure with a week mountain biking. Cruise rail trails and challenge yourself on the single tracks. Then celebrate with some ice cream! It’s a wheelie good time. Bring your own bike or ride one from Kirchenwald’s new fleet!

Super Adventure
This might just be the ultimate camp experience. Do a little bit of everything in this action-packed week where you help pick the activities. A focus on Christian leadership and service sets participants up to return for one or more weeks of camp internship – great for those considering employment at camp.

Adirondack Backpack Trip – Grades 7-11
Take in the beauty from atop New York’s tallest mountains. Challenge yourself by ascending the High Peaks, riding natural water slides, and jumping in waterfalls in this excellent program.

Adirondack Canoe Trip – Grades 7-11
Paddle the Fulton Chain of Lakes through the wilderness of New York’s Adirondack Park on this scenic canoe trip. An island rope swing and the aqua wonderland are always on the agenda.

Beach Camp – Grades 6-8 – July 14-19

Camp in tents on the dunes of Assateague Island. Ocean swimming, surf, clamming, and crabbing make this a beach lover’s dream.

KirchenQuest – Grades 7-11
Dropped off in the woods Monday morning, you’ll have to backpack the Appalachian trail, canoe the Susquehanna River, and bike the local rail trails back to Kirchenwald in time for Capture the Flag.
