The theme of the quilt is "Yesteryear" based on our memories of long ago, and depicted by cross-stitch blocks that look like old Granny square afghan blocks and surface-embroidered blocks that show Sunbonnet Sue and Sam in various activities like fishing, flying kites, and reading. These blocks are incorporated in a Churn Dash quilt pattern using gold, white, and brown fabric. The quilt fits a queen or king size bed. It is made from cotton fabric with cotton batting. The backing on the quilt is a gold print.
