Theme for 2026: Community
October 6–8, 2026 (Tuesday–Thursday)
Join us at Camp Nawakwa for a midweek retreat filled with reading, reflection, and renewal! The 2026 Book Study Retreat invites participants to explore the theme of Community through meaningful discussion, shared learning, and quiet time for rest and connection.
This year’s selected books are:
-
Non-Fiction: Becoming All Things by Michelle Reyes — a thoughtful exploration of cultural identity, empathy, and the call to build meaningful relationships across differences.
-
Fiction: The Mostly True Story of Tanner and Louise by Colleen Oakley — a heartwarming and humorous story of two unlikely companions who discover the power of connection and belonging.
Enjoy good books, good company, and the peaceful surroundings of Nawakwa as we reflect on what it means to live in community and faith.
Open to all who love reading, discussion, and fellowship!
