Wittel Farm Summer Day Program
Jesus often used parables to teach simple, understandable lessons about complex topics like faith, God’s
kingdom, and God’s great love and mercy for us, His children. The 2010 Wittel Summer Day Program,
Faith on the Farm, will bring to life the farm imagery of Jesus’ parables to help children learn about,
strengthen, and extend their faith. Combining the farm related imagery of some of Jesus’ most well
known parables, like the parable of the sower, the field, the lost sheep, and others, with hands on learning
opportunities, activities, gardening, games, songs, and worship will create an exciting, fun-filled day that
children will find meaningful and memorable.
