 
The IMAGINE... Campaign will expand the Lutheran Camping Corporation’s camping and retreat properties and move our mission forward into new and exciting ministry opportunities. This campaign, approved by the Synod Council of the Lower Susquehanna Synod, will be conducted with the same straightforward integrity that is behind every endeavor of The Lutheran Camping Corporation.
Through this capital campaign, funds will be raised to expand the boundaries of Nawakwa to adjacent property, which includes open woodland, farm fields, gently rolling hills, wetlands and an attractive mountain stream. This land borders all of Upper Camp, the area beside the Lower Camp softball and athletic fields, and includes the fields behind Cabin Row. The newly acquired property encompasses 221 acres bordering Nawakwa’s existing perimeter.
 Why do we need this expansion? The Lutheran Camping Corporation is blessed with a legacy of faithful, innovative leadership training and careful use of our natural resources. Our history and heritage compel us to provide for future generations and offer programs in dynamic and creative ways. The decision to conduct this capital fund campaign is in keeping with this legacy of leadership development and faithful stewardship of God’s creation.
